Cerium Oxide - CeO2 - (110) - 2 mm x 9 mm
Substrates are black color.  Usual substrate thickness is 0.7 mm to 1.1 mm.  Smaller thicknesses can be made to order. 

These CeO2 crystals have surface decorations in the form of micro-fissures and pits which are a function of the bulk crystal and not the polishing technique.  In between such surface decorations EPI surfaces do exist and users have found that useful research can be performed despite these decorations.

Laue photos of these crystals show very clear and distinct reflections
